Our 1955 Flying Cloud metal cabinets are reasonably light in weight, even with their real wood doors. And the rooster latches on the ceiling are also very practical.
When the interior walls were taken out of our Airstream, not all the upper cabinets were removed before the shell was separated from the chassis. To get work done between the exterior and interior shells, these remaining cabinets were removed.
Street-side interior shell painted was painted over in what is to me such a depressing yellow-tan color. I look forward to the happier original green Zolatone color! These different colored panels are the front water heater, bathroom, refrigerator, and rear small closet.
We have the same painted over areas for the curb-side interior shell. The different colored panels are upper cabinet over the range, upper cabinet over the sink, closet, and upper cabinet over the bed.
There is quite a bit of damage in the galley. Corrosion of the aluminum requires a new interior panel in the kitchen.
Even the ceiling aluminum has some corrison. Comforting to know that Colin says this was not from mouse urine!
